Abstract

Inventory control problem is one of the important problems faced by the company. Inventory that is too large or too small can cause unexpected problems such as: Shortage of raw goods inventory will result in obstacles to the production process. This is because in inventory there are expenses in the form of material purchases and storage processes, so inventory problems have a direct effect on company profits. PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk needs to determine the optimal quantity and frequency of orders in controlling wood raw material inventory so that companies can order wood raw material in quantities that match production needs by minimizing the cost of controlling wood raw material inventory.
